Religion is not something that tends to be solid, but rather something that is more fluid. Every religion has its own laws or guidelines and those who follow their religion do their best to stay true to those guidelines. The Christian faith is one that likes its followers to be as serious about the rules as they possibly can, which may be why many people who follow this faith worry that getting a tattoo will make them look bad in the church’s eyes. Is it really okay to get a tattoo when you’re a Christian?


There is nothing written down that says that a Christian can’t get a tattoo, and, in fact, many people who follow this religion get a tattoo that shows the world how much they love their religion. There are a number of Christian tattoos that you can pick from if you’re thinking of getting a tattoo and want to show the world how much you love your religion, and how much you believe in your faith. The Christian religion is full of symbols, making it easy for both men and women, and people who like all sorts of different things, to find something that will suit them.


You can go with a traditional cross, or a stylized one, or you can go with something else light hearted, like a dove of peace, or even Easter eggs. There are some darker symbols as well, including a crown of thorns, or even Jesus wearing a crown of thorns.  Even a chalice can be seen as a wonderful way to show the world what religion you’re affiliated with. Yes, Christians can and do get tattoos, and if you want to have a tattoo that symbolizes your religion, there are a number of them to select from.
